This issue of Lessons Learned features Biology and Special Education (SPED). Biology assessed the effect of participating in undergraduate research on students’ ability to think critically while SPED assessed students who are learning to be teachers on their ability to assess students. SPED is last year’s winner of the Provost’s Award for Assessment of Learning.
