Regional Forums have been scheduled and invitations sent out. For more details and to register for a regional forum or the Webinar, visit http://www.wascsenior.org/redesign/regionalforums.

Beyond the forums, there are three other ways to provide feedback:
1.       Publicly comment on the WASC website
2.       Submit direct comment via email
3.       Speak at the Commission Public Hearing on November 3, 2011. Note: any member of the public is welcome to attend the Public Hearing and not speak, space permitting. See registration details below.

Public Comment on Website: To submit a public comment on the WASC website, go to http://wascsenior.uservoice.com.

Direct, written comments can be submitted via email to Jessica Worchel, Accreditation Redesign Project Manager, at jworchel@wascsenior.org. Written comments must be received by 5:00 pm on Wednesday, October 26.  Please list “Written Comment for Commission Public Hearing” in the subject line of the email. All comments received by this date will be distributed to the Commission for their review prior to the November 3rd meeting.  Please note that no written materials will be accepted for review after October 26 and no written comments will be accepted on site at the Public Hearing.

Oral comments at the Public Hearing: Oral presentations will take place at the WASC Public Hearing on Thursday, November 3, 2011 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm, at the Sheraton Delfina Santa Monica Hotel. On a space-available basis, individuals/groups will be granted an opportunity to speak to the Commission for up to five minutes each.  Time will be allotted on a first-come, first-served basis, with a minimum of twenty time slots available. To register to attend and/or speak at the Public Hearing, go to http://wascpublichearing2011.eventbrite.com/

Those who do not pre-register to speak may sign up on site at the Public Hearing for an opportunity to make an oral comment.  If time permits following pre-registered comments, individuals or groups who sign up on November 3 will be invited to comment on a first-come, first-served basis, for up to three minutes.

If you have any questions on how to provide comments on accreditation redesign, please contact Jessica Worchel, Accreditation Redesign Project Manager, at jworchel@wascsenior.org. We look forward to receiving your input!
